Strategic Partnerships

Advanced discussions with suppliers of preferred technologies has led to informal partnerships with wind turbine manufacturers, biomass and waste-to-energy converters and power plant EPCs. These companies have indicated a strong enthusiasm for SEC’s business strategy and a willingness to cooperate as both technology suppliers and as deal flow pipelines of new projects.

Local implementation teams in the geographic target zones have also established new relationships with active developers and potential off-take partners. Combined with top-level contacts in the public and private sectors, SEC’s global orientation is supported by insider access to domestic markets.

SEC also contributes to a rich cross-fertilization with its sister companies in real estate, insurance and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions trading. Access to new insurance products, credit enhancement facilities, and trading-support services for carbon sequestration and GHG emissions markets gives SEC a major advantage and, alongside technology partners and local contacts, completes a world-class team.
